National network of estate agents celebrate at prestigious Annual Conference & Awards Dinner

Estate agents from across England, Scotland and Wales are celebrating after winning distinguished industry awards at the 20th Annual Relocation Agent Network Conference. A total of 28 awards were presented at this year’s event, which was held on Friday 15 November 2013, at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in Central London. The Annual Conference and Awards Dinner, including a trade exhibition during the day, has become one of Britain’s most prestigious estate agency events and a calendar highlight for Network members.

The Network Conference featured an exclusive line up of keynote speakers including the woman responsible for the 15,000 ‘Games Makers’ at the London Olympics, Linda Moir; author and television presenter, Nigel Risner; and Andy Lopata, a leading business networking strategist.

This year’s event marked Relocation Agent Network’s 20th National Conference. To celebrate, the day ended with a glittering black tie Awards Dinner. The sold out event was hosted by comedian and television presenter, Dara O Briain.

Endorsed by leading UK relocation magazine Re:locate, the night’s most coveted prize, Relocation Agent Network’s Agent of the Year was awarded to Thomas Morris from Cambridgeshire who was judged to be the agent who has most excelled in leading the field of UK estate agency and network standards. As part of their prize, Thomas Morris also received an all expenses paid trip to attend the 2014 Cartus Broker Network Conference in the US.

The Employee of the Year award, was given to Hilbery Chaplin’s Karen Rowell. Relocation Agent Network’s 16 Best Agent Regional Awards went to; Richard James (Central); JB & B Leach (Cheshire & North Wales); Thomas Morris (East Anglia & Essex); Gibbs Gillespie (Greater London); Pygott & Crone (East Midlands); Hunters (West Midlands); Michael Poole (North East); Ryder & Dutton (North West); Maloco & Associates (Scotland); Romans (Thames Valley); Sparks Ellison (South Coast); Brock Taylor (South East); Webbers (South West); Chris Clubley (Yorkshire); Heritage (West); and FBM (South Wales).The nine Customer Relocation Awards went to Romans from Reading, (Category A); Devon’s Webbers (Category B); Thomas Morris (Category C); Greater London’s Gibbs Gillespie (Category D); Heritage from North Somerset (Category E); Brock Taylor based in Horsham (Category F); Graham Butt from West Sussex (Category G); Gregory Brown from Staines (Category H); and Roseberry Newhouse from North Yorkshire (Category I). The Lettings Referral Award went to The Frost Partnership from Buckinghamshire.

The event’s platinum sponsor was Zoopla Property Group along with Moneypenny, Ravensworth, Reapit, The Live Organisation, myhomemove and TM training and development. Each of the sponsors attended this year’s trade exhibition, which gave delegates an opportunity to discover the latest products and services in every area of estate agency.
