Relocation Agent Network Celebrates at Prestigious National Conference and Awards Dinner

Friday 20 November 2015

Estate agents from across England, Scotland and Wales are celebrating after winning distinguished industry awards at the 22nd Relocation Agent Network National Conference. Held on Friday 13 November 2015, a total of 28 awards were presented. The annual Conference and Awards Dinner has become one of the UK’s most prestigious estate agency events and a calendar highlight for Network members.

Taking place at the Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel in London, delegates attended keynote sessions presented by economist Roger Martin-Fagg; top motivational speaker, Caspar Berry; Kevin Ellis, founder of new homes consultancy firm, Thomas Mae; and Nick Wheeler, the founder and managing director of Charles Tyrwhitt shirts. The Conference also included a trade exhibition, giving delegates the opportunity to meet with key estate agency suppliers, including platinum sponsor Rightmove. Other 2015 sponsors included Reapit, ETSOS, Moneypenny, The Live Organisation, Ravensworth and TM training & development.

This year’s official Conference Mobile App gave delegates the chance to network with one another in the lead up to the event. On the day, the App allowed delegates to take part in live polling during Conference sessions. Designed to enhance the ‘delegate experience’ the interactive sessions produced results shown instantly on stage, providing real insight into how attending Relocation Agent Network members viewed key industry topics.

The event culminated in a black tie Awards Dinner hosted by well-known comedian, Tim Vine, who presented awards to the night’s winning estate agents. This included the most coveted Agent of the Year accolade, won by Pygott & Crone from Lincolnshire who was judged to be the agent who has most excelled in leading the field of UK estate agency and Network standards.

Relocation Agent Network also took the opportunity to raise funds for charity at this year’s Awards Dinner. Taking part in two fundraising games, delegates raised over £3,000 for estate agency charity, Agents Giving. The well-deserved cause is dedicated to raising money for UK organisations such as Macmillan Cancer Support and the British Heart Foundation.
